Community Projects

Collaborating to create community through opportunities, events and resources is an inextricable part of my creative practice. Most of my visual artwork is created in solitude and I need the counterbalance of community, such as being an artist member of Antenna Gallery or as a volunteer board member of Seattle Center for Book Arts.

Below are some of the collaborative projects and organizations I have developed and driven.

I am particularly inclined towards projects that relate to book arts, printmaking, mixed-race identity and communities, and my past and preset geographic communities (Currently Tacoma, WA. Previously New Orleans, Seattle, Philadelphia, the D.C. area, and the Goto Retto in Japan).
